Is it because there is no north wall on the track now?

I received notice Friday that the Midwest 305's will be replacing the ASCS Midwest region. We planned on returning in 2012 if they would have us, but they went with a less affordable division.

We had some good times and some great races at Denison and quite a few of our racers were looking forward to the newly configured race track.

We wish them luck with their new venture and I want to thank everybody that has had a part in letting us bring the ASCS Midwest region to Crawford County Speedway for the past number of years. That fair race will be missed...CZ

I used to enjoy watching the ASCS Sprints run CCS, although we never realy got good car counts. Maybe this smaller track would have gotten more cars. I hope we can see you run on the new CCS sometime.

Chuck, When we run a vs show (Midwest vs Warrior) do we get point separated for our respective division?

sp21,

Good question...no...great question.

Lonnie took care of all the points and he's no longer with ASCS. I will TRY to get an answer as I need to know also.

As soon as I get an answer I will notify you all right here on this message board...CZ

The way the points have been awarded (in the past) are by your feature finish position and were not separated by division. Finish 3rd in the feature (but 1st for your division) you were awarded 3rd place points. It was that way for region/region events and event national/region events. It was even done this way when we've had region/region/NCRA events in April. Maybe it doesn't seem right or fair to some racers, but it was always consistent. It might have changed last year, but this was how it worked two years ago when we ran for region points.

I'm not suffering from insanity. I'm enjoying every minute of it!
