The Beatrice Speedway Hall of Fame committee will be holding a Daytona 500 party/fundraiser to help raise funds for it's projects. The Daytona 500 party will include door prizes, raffles, drink specials and more. Anyone wishing to donate items for door prizes/raffles can contact me via email, drop them off at Extreme Motorsports or call 402-228-5861 days. Or contact Tommy Denton, Derrick Long, Bridget Thornburg, or Mark Wasserman. This will be held in conjuction with the Beatrice Speedway, the Hall of Fame committee, and Risky's Sports Bar in Beatrice. All procedes go to the Beatrice Speedway Hall of Fame.
We will have more announcement in the next few weeks to give more details and prize lists. Thanks

 You didn't say so, but I'd guess it will be at Risky's? How do I reserve a seat right in front, in the middle of the big screen?

Yes, it will be held at Risky's Sports Bar. Get there bright and early Ernie! Hey, maybe we'll have a donation contest or something for "The best seat in the house"!?

Some cool door prize and raffle items have started to come in. Thanks to Beatrice Speedway, Oreilly's, IMCA, Risky's sports bar, Extreme Motorsports, for getting the ball rolling. Anyone wishing to donate, can drop items off at Extreme Motorsports Monday-Friday 9am - 6pm. and Saturdays 9am - 1 pm. or contact any HOF committee member. If any drivers out there have left over tee's from last season, this would be a great way to get rid of a few.

There are several projects the Hall of Fame would like to do. The biggest "need" is to have funds to put on a successful Hall of Fame night at the track . Our goal is to allow all of the alumni NO cost in the pre-race meet and greet (snack, drinks,...) and in admission to the nights events, . We also have expenses in the awards given to new inductees and upkeep of the track display case (name plaques, decoration, maintenance..). We would also like to create a website, featuring historical information, photos, results,......
Right now, the only money available for any of this, are the fundraisers the we put on. We aren't trying to raise thousands of dollars to build buildings or anything like that. Just want to have a nice setup to help honor the alumni of Beatrice Speedway.

no u do not have to be present to win. They have great raffle and door prizes. Plus, Riskies are giving some great prizes additional to what Hall of Fame is giving away. Sounds like fun.
