Sponsors & Support: I would like to thank a lot of people for all of their support. This sport takes a lot of time and money. Also thanks to my wife and family for their infinite patience during the season. Sometimes the only time we have together is in the shop sitting on old tires while I work and they are handing me tools. A big thanks to the ever so important sponsors, Roger Ronnebaum Construction - Axtell, KS, J&D's Texaco & Car Wash - Marysville KS, Chuck Simmonds of Simmonds Consulting - Lincoln NE, and Rock's Body Shop - Marysville, KS. Lots of cars from all classes come out of this area and people get hit hard for sponsorship money. I am very grateful for all of your help. Also thanks to Lewis Seed & Fertilizer for their trophy sponsorship. That Fans' Favorite Driver Award meant more to me than any points race. Finally, thanks to the fans. You give all of us fuel to keep going even on the bad weeks. Your excitement carries through and makes us try harder. Without you, racing would be a lot less fun!

 Tracks & Series
Beatrice Speedway (NE) - Hobby Stock #5

 Awards & Accomplishments
In 2000 I was 6th in the IMCA Hobby Stock class at Beatrice Speedway and was thrilled! In 2001 I was 3rd in the points and was ecstatic! Then when I was presented with the Fans' Favorite Driver Award (shared with Tim Fralin, who I really respect and think a lot of), I couldn't believe it! That is my favorite award!

 Career Summary
I started in the Cruisers, going along with friends who were involved. I have always been a car nut so it made sense and saved wear and tear on my personal car. Then I moved to the IMCA Hobby Stocks and am really happy in this class. I get to run with some great guys and it is a lot of fun!

 Racing Goals
To race clean and fair. I would love to win points at Beatrice. I am not sure where I'll go from there. Who knows? Maybe move up to a Modified?

 Other Interesting Team Information
I always was a baseball fan and my favorite player was #5 George Brett. I always wore that number myself, so it made a good fit for my car. If I find something that seems lucky I stick it in my pocket. Before every race, my wife hands me my racing gear, fastens my window net, and pats my helmet.
