Sponsors & Support: All Concepts Remodeling - Omaha, Nebraskaland Siding & Windows - Lincoln, Quality Tire - Omaha, Willard Auto Machine - Omaha, Sparkle Wash - Omaha, Action Battery - Omaha. I also have to thank my family. Mom and Dad own the car and put up with the mess in the driveway. Dad puts more hours into the car than I can count. My wife tapes the races and touches up the paint. My kids try to keep the car and trailer clean. I'd like to thank Chuck Willard for the engine work. I have to thank the officials, drivers, crews and fans. I consider myself very, very shy but being around the track has helped me with this. You all are so friendly and acceptable to me even when I make one of those dumb racing mistakes. Thank you to Dave & Kathy Cook and Dave Schneider. They let me drive their Pro Am one night in 1998 and what a rush! It meant a lot to me to know they trusted my racing skills enough to put me in their car.

 Career Summary
My father Paul and I built a car over the winter to race in the Fam Sedan class at Eagle Raceway for the 1996 season. I finished 3rd the first night out and won the feature on my third night. We went on to win 3 or 4 more features that year and my dad won Mechanic of the Year. If I could've kept the right rear tire on the car, we could have finished better than 7th in points. Thanks to the help from my wife and kids, we also won the Best Appearing Team Award. In 1997 Quality Tire provided us with Cooper Tires and this cured our tire problem. With 8 A Feature wins, 4 Trophy Dash wins, and another Mechanic of the Year Award, we came up 4 points shy of the championship but happily settled for 2nd. In 1998 Eagle dropped the Fam Sedan class so we raced at I-80 Speedway in the Hobby Stock class, where the car ran really good. We had 4 A Feature wins, 1 Trophy Dash win, held the points lead most of the year, and won the Championship. We took 1999 off, but got the itch to run on the 4th of July weekend at I-80. We won the race, got claimed, refused the claim, and sat out the rest of the year. In 2000 Nebraskaland Windows talked us into going back to racing at Eagle but moving up a class to the Flyers. With consistent finishes, 1 A Feature win and only 1 DNF (on a track where driving it on the trailer at the end of some nights is a victory in itself), we won Rookie of the Year, 2nd in Snap-on points, and the Track Championship.

 Racing Goals
Looking for a few more sponsors to be able to defend my 2000 title and to possibly move up to a higher class in the future or find an owner who needs a driver/mechanic.

 Other Interesting Team Information
I chose the number 88 for the year the love of my life and I got married! The last 5 years have been remarkable. My father and I have become more like friends than father and son. The people I've met through racing are second to none. Yes the racing is fun - there is no other feeling like going into a corner 2 or 3 wide as fast as you can and coming out the other side without touching. But the people around the track are what keeps it enjoyable time after time!!!!!!!!
