 | | Career Summary | | 2000 is the first full season I raced. 1994, 1997, 1998 and 2003 were tough years. We never seem to be able to run a whole year because of money. I actually wanted to build a drag car until a friend gave me a 1974 Nova. He told me it would make a perfect Stock Car. I was stationed in South Carolina in the military at the time and started to frequent the local dirt and paved tracks. I was introduced to a guy named Tony Gurganious who owned two cars that ran at a paved track called Summerville Speedway. The driver of his 4-Cylinder Modified got hurt in a wreck and he asked me to drive for him. That's how I got started. I drove his car and built my Nova at his shop. Once the Nova was finished, I started to race it in the Hobby Stock class. Once I moved to Omaha, I met Doug Stevenson, driver of the #84 Pro Am. He has helped me out a ton in the past few years. Thanks Doug!!
 | | Racing Goals | | One of these years the z00m will visit victory lane. Hopefully it's before I retire or before I'm broke!
 | | Other Interesting Team Information | | My wife came up with the idea of adding the Z and M to my number. In 2004 the car will be driven by my brother, Troy Bogert, so I can concentrate on setup.
