1988 subaru 4x4 station wagon $1000.00
This has been my daily driver and race car parts hauler for the last 5 years. Ive hauled motors, tires and even drums of fuel in it..
I put new struts, brakes, axles, starter and paint, its from out of state so very little rust, a\c blows cold. etc. motor has 60 thousand on it. the car quit running and I am working out of town, so I bought another car as my wifes car also took a dive the same week.
The last couple of weeks Ive checked the compression it has 80 on one cyl and 100 on the other 3. I replaced the plugs, cap rotor wires, it has fuel and spark. I took the front of the motor apart and checked the timing belts, they are still aligned and only have 10 thousand miles on them. I bought another main computer for it and that didnt start it. I have given up, I was hoping to fix it but I need to spend my short weekends in my shop on my racecar.
