Hobbystock motor
For sale: A budget built claimer hobbystock motor. I just opened it up and checked it out and then re-assembled it. It is a 350, stock 4.00 bore 2 bolt main. It has a scat crank, 3.48 stroke. It has gm x rods and stock replacement type pistons. The cam is a comp cam. It has 1.5 and 1.6 long slot rockers. The heads are 882's. The intake is a 2 barrel cast intake. I just bolted this to my engine test stand and fired ti up. It does run and has good oil pressure. It seems to have a vibration. If I was gonna keep this motor I would tear it down and get new rods and pistons, that should cure the vibration. $500 Cash!
