More Scam Warnings
To all users,
Just want to give everyone another heads up. We have received some emails from individuals claiming to be investment loan companies asking how to post ads on our site. We are very suspicious of the wording of their emails. Now that the "I'll send you a cashier's check for an amount over your item for sale and you send me the difference" scam has mostly run its course, this may very well be the next type of scam that waves through the Internet. We are hoping it is unlikely that they will actually post any ads on our site since they have to purchase a membership first, but we wouldn't put it past them to purchase a membership using a stolen credit card number. So please be aware of anyone offering to lend you money, as they will likely ask you for personal information in an attempt to steal your financial identity. We will of course remove any ads we see that are suspicious and deactivate the users, but obviously we can't catch every one of them the moment they are posted. Always use your best judgment when dealing with anyone you don't know personally.
