1978 KZ1000 LTD For Sale or Trade
I bought this kz 1000 with good intentions of fixing and using as a daily rider, I got it running and cleaned it up and thats as far as I got, then the points started giving me trouble, it ran very, very good at first, then came the points, It just needs to be switched over to electronic ignition and be done with but I have many other projects and am running out of room. It started running like its only on two cylinders and is still that way. Seat has a couple tears, tailpeice has been sanded down to paint. I would take the motor out and drop off $500 if you just wanted the rest. This bike only has 8332 miles on it now. This bike did sit for some years but I got front Brake Calipers cleaned and they work great. Tank has minor rust and a couple dents. There are no side covers. Rear tire is bald, Front tire is near new, could possibly be original. Speedo cover has some scratches. Brake rod is missing from rear master cylinder to pedal. No test rides unless cash is in my hand. I am in no big hurry to sell this so if you are not serious and dont have money when you come to look to buy, DONT WASTE MY TIME, because I am not wasting yours by telling you what is wrong and what it needs. Dont try to low ball me because I know what these parts are worth and I just hate to part out a complete bike. If I remember any thing else I will post. I do have some misc parts from other kz's so if you need something particular let me know, and I might have it. I might take a partial trade for snapon toolbox or tools, mac or matco, honda 200 or bigger 3 wheeler/ 4 wheeler or Cash. If this is still listed it is still for sale. Im in Fremont, NE. $975.00 or may negotiate a little. Title in hand.
