1984 dodge 600 convertible
1984 Dodge 600 Convertible in really good condition, this would make a good investment property. All convertible cars appreciate in value over time, NADA on this car is in the neighborhood of $3600, at half price this is a bargain!
2.2 Turbocharged 4 cylinder engine with Automatic Transmission. 81,431 miles and the previous owner stated that is the actual mileage. I installed 4 new tires and this car drive like a dream, straight down the road.
AC kicks on when you push the button, but needs to be filled back up with R12, yes this is a R12 system that hasn't been changed over and still has pressure in it so it can be recharged with a couple of cans of r12. (R12 is much colder than R134a)
Burgundy Red with white interior, white top with plastic window. Some small cracks in the top at the back but doesn't leak water as it has multiple layers.
Jensen AM FM CD MP3 stereo, the car was shedded before I bought it and the only rust hole I've found is in the sheet metal is by the right rear wheel about the size of a quarter. Body is straight and has no dents.
The Work I have done on the car:
1. Car had low compression on #4 cylinder, piston had damaged ring lands, I replaced the piston and installed new connecting rod bearings on all of the other connecting rod journals. Car runs great now!
2. Brakes, replaced front brake pads (rear lining is ok) replaced both front brake calipers and both brake hoses.
It needs the fuel gauge fixed as it says "full" all the time and the low fuel lamp is on.
