487 Heads/Aluminum Adapter FOR SALE
FOR SALE:
This is a set of 487, 76 CC sbc heads. The casting number is 8978487, the dates are F of 71 and J of 71.
The Castings have been crack checked, cleaned, resurfaced (milled and plained), as well as given a valve job by Midstate Machine out of Des Moines, IA.
The heads have brand new 2.02 INT and 1.6 EXH stainless steel valves, and the also come with new .550 lift valve springs. They also have pinned studs.
I planned on building a 9.1 motor for a b-mod with these heads but decided to jump into an a-mod. I paid $350 for these heads over the winter. They are unused since freshening but ready to bolt on. Asking for $315.
Also have a never used CNC machined aluminum 2 to 4 barrel carburetor adapter to mate a Holley 4412 to a GM Q-Jet intake. Adapter is 1 inch thick. $25
