So, whats the deal with him? The (insert expletive here) has to keep ruining racing at US30 by constantly trying to claim people. Can he be kicked out for the rest of the year?

kidrizzotooPosted on 8/3/2012 10:58:42 PM

No it part of the rules what is wrong with the claim thats what it is there for the track was gana take 3t motor and he was gana let them have it for the 550 claim and did not get mad at all its part of the game
And will be back all year

Looks to me that he is price checking motors guess we know where the money is. Just trying keep things fair as stated in the rules. If you don't like the claim buy a crate, put up and keep paying your fines while sitting at home. He has just been doing a little figuring taking things out of the equation, party on dude. Slogan should be "3T removing one glory hole at a time."

seems like 13 isnt so lucky

kidrizzotooPosted on 8/6/2012 9:40:17 PM

There is alot of big motors there in alot of money in them that should not be in the b mods but if you claim your the bad guy for play the game by the rules

It is what it is

Be careful of what you say by the rules, are you saying by what is wrote in the book, or what IMCA seems to try to do what they do.

It is what it is

Slo53Posted on 8/11/2012 3:20:17 PM

Crate. No big deal. My car is the oldest one out there (1999). My crate is from 2007 and never rebuilt. Old shocks, used tires. Still runs good. Just hate cheap * that use "rules" as a way to get a cheap motor. If u can't afford to race, stay home. How many "big dollar motors" have won this year vs a crate anyway? Maybe 2? Yup, it's all about those big motors... Sooooo much of an unfair advantage.

My thinkin has always been if you dont want it claimed then dont build it. The rule is there for a reason, to try and keep the guys with buckets full of money from building gazillion dollar engines. I always built an engine with the intention of blowing it up or getting claimed that way when either happens I wouldnt be to butt hurt. Luckly neither ever happened to me. I wouldnt even think twice if I raced again about claiming an engine. I would claim the guy that wins all the time just cause I can. JMO

2 things... 1. U put us on the wrecker, the only time we were. 2. English lessons, take some.

race_4_funPosted on 8/12/2012 6:13:55 PM

Here's one thought for everyone- IMCA wants you to use IMCA EQ spec heads on a claimer motor.... claim $500.....IMCA EQ spec head's $800 to $900. Thats my own issue with the claim and why people don't like it or won't give up their motor. Also another is because "most" honest people put all their effort and money into the car to get to the track every weak and can only afford to put one motor together-and remember I said "most"

1521Posted on 8/12/2012 6:53:38 PM

if you can only afford one motor in my opinion you probably shouldnt be racing. Like I said just my opinion

kidrizzotooPosted on 8/12/2012 9:02:39 PM

How did i put you on the wrecker?? When u spun in heat and i had no were to go really. Or the night my car spun a lil side ways and you drove rite over my front tire? Lift of the gas. And i have two motors there not big.

Slo53Posted on 8/14/2012 4:35:30 PM

Lol! My driver held his line and u came down into him sending my car thru the air. The 2 drivers behind u 2 came over and couldn't believe what u did. I won't mention the colorful descriptions they gave about your driving. Too bad I couldn't claim the shocks, spring, rim, tire and frame tubing from u that it cost me. But I realize that's part of racing. I won't take other people's parts from them for cheap, even though the rules say I can. Id rather work to beat em with knowledge.

kidrizzotooPosted on 8/14/2012 7:44:56 PM

I did not say its wasnt me i did start to spin out im sorry for that but im not the only one that has spun out ur driver spun out alot at the start on the year no big deal its racing im not wanting to fight about it you started the post on there. But i did not turn in to him i spun side ways sorry for that.

Slo53Posted on 8/14/2012 11:28:24 PM

Well, he has never driven a mod before but he's getting better. Glad u apologized. Sorry as well if u had problems cause of our spinning.
