Subject: Late model rule adjustment May 25 only

For this week only there will be small adjustment in the size of the restrictor cones allowed in some of the motor packages. This is an attempt to achieve parity between the multiple motor packages available.
For one week only any motor smaller than 400 cubic inches required to run a restrictor cone will be allowed to run a cone .050" larger than the size currently stated in the rules. The results of this change will be evaluated after the event.
Engines 400 cubic inches and larger and spec motors will have no changes to their current rule packages.
