Quick Pick Self-Serve Auto Parts presents the IMCA Weekly Racing Series this Sunday, May 26th.
We will be running all 5 IMCA divisions: Professional Concrete IMCA Modifieds, Casey�s General Stores IMCA Stockcars, Skyline Bar & Casino IMCA Sportmods, Frederick Welding & Sales IMCA Hobbystocks and the KISS 107.1FM IMCA Sport Compacts.
This will also be the kick-off for the Quick Pick Big Wheel Racing Series Season Opener. Sunday, May 26th we will draw six kids� names to race on the front stretch. We will make a small oval and provide 6 big wheels to race a two lap race. The winner will get a trophy and be qualified for the finals.
How this works is we will have 6 races: May 26, June 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30th. This will be the first half of the season. The second half will be July 21, 28, August 4, 11, 18, and 25th. This will be a total of 12 winners.
These 12 winners are qualified for the finals Championship Night September 1st. We will take the first half of the season�s winners and race with these 6 taking the top 3. Then we will race the second half and take the top 3. These 6 then will race their championship race with the winner taking home a 6 foot trophy.
Gates open 5pm with racing at 6:30. General admission $10, kids 10 and under always free. Raceway Park will not disappoint so grab your family and come on out. Raceway Park is located just 10 miles north of Sioux City, IA; I-29 to exit 4,then 0.2 mile east to SR 105 then 1.7 mile north (on the west side of SR 105).
