The SLMR �Race for the Safe� continues at the Charlie Clark
The Malvernbank.com �Race for the Safe� swings back into action on Sunday, May 26 during the Charlie Clark Memorial at I-80 Speedway. Round one of the �Race for the Safe� created some interesting circumstances as Kyle Berck won the race, but a 24 point penalty for spinning Justin Gregg after a restart, has resulted in second place finishing J.C. Wyman being the SLMR point leader.
This SLMR race will be different than most because the purse has been increased as a result of the race being part of the Charlie Clark Memorial. The winner will receive $2,022 to win versus the normal $1,000 to win while second place will pay $2,222 versus the normal $1,000. The distance of the feature has also been increased from 25 laps to 35 laps.
