Dirt Dogs LLC will not be promoting or running BBB Speedway for the rest of the season or any other season unless the casino is under different management. I would like to personally thank all of the racers and fans that came this year and I am sorry we could not make this work. Allen

Let me be the first to say how bad this sucks!! As I said before, anytime that a dirt track closes it hurts us all.
I am not now, nor have I ever been a spokesman for Eagle Raceway. But, I do pass along EXACTLY what I'm told.
The comments are solely my own, and in no way reflect those of Eagle Raceway, it's owners or other employees. But, then again, that doesn't mean that they don't agree. |

I agree Eagle, my opinion dirt track racing is the only way to go. I just want you guys to know Boone County Raceway in Albion,NE would love to see some of you guys come race if you want a place to run. We have a special with fireworks and added purse for Fridays show. It may be a pull for some of you but I know there was a mod here early in the year from Onawa so it must not be to bad. Gates open @ 6 Races @ 8pm
You're not at a real race unless you have dirt in your beer! |

go, what do you mean by local? Albion has 10-12 of its "town" cars every week and not ONE of them are leading or second in the points. Apparently they are not getting treated well enough or are you saying no one travels? We have the 2nd place guy in IMCA national points running at our track 2 others in the top 10 in state points and several cars pull from Norfolk, Columbus ect. One guy pulls from Springfield, SD won 2 weeks ago and he calls it his home track. We also had a hobby stock pull from Lincoln and win a few weeks back. If it wasn't for out-of town cars this track wouldn't stay afloat. So I'm not sure what ur trying to say? All I can say is thanks to everyone that makes the drive! |
