Premiere Sports Travel Packages
Las Vegas Motor Speedway
7000 Las Vegas Boulevard N
Las Vegas, NV 89115
Capacity: 150,000

If ever there was a NASCAR event that had aspirations of competing with the Daytona 500 as the supreme race on the NASCAR schedule, the annual race in the desert of Neveda currently known as the Shelby 427 is that event. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from the bright lights of The Strip in Las Vegas sits a jewel of a venue, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. With construction beginning in 1995, at a total cost of $200 million, this mile and half long track has quickly become the modern-day mecca for the thrones of NASCAR fans across the country who journey here each year. Sprint Cup legend Mark Martin won the Inaugural Las Vegas 400 back in March 1998, but ever since the track has seen a steady diet of repeat winners, from Jeff Burton in 1999 and 2000, Matt Kenseth in 2003 and 2004, and Jimmie Johnson from 2005 through 2007. Carl Edwards will be hoping to add his name to the list as he looks to duplicate his 2008 UAW-Dodge 400 victory with another title in 2009.

What's not to like about this event? The weather is gorgeous, the scenery is beautiful, and the racing is intense! The Las Vegas Motor Speedway contains a full array of facilities to display the finest racing has to offer -- whether it be the Sprint Cup Series with the Shelby 427, Busch and Truck Series events, dirt track racing, road course, and even a world class drag racing track. And if the entertainment at the track isn't enough to hold your attention, I'm certain you will be able to find something that will among the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. There is so much to do and so much to see that it can be a bit overwhelming at times to plan a whole trip out, so why not let the folks over at Premiere Sports Travel take care of all the planning for you. A Las Vegas race package from Premiere Sports Travel can include everything you need to enjoy your stay in Sin City -- hotel accommodations at some of the finest casinos on The Strip, motorcoach transportation to the track, race tickets to any number of events, hospitality events with driver appearances, pit passes -- everything but the poker chips.
