I guess I got my interest in it from my dad who also raced. I started racing in the Hobby Stock Class at Buena Vista Speedway in Alta, Iowa in 1988. The next year I raced there and at Crawford County Speedway in Denison. In 1991 I moved to the Modified division and have raced Modifieds ever since. | Other Interesting Team Information | I wouldn't be able to do it without my pit crew. These guys spend a lot of time getting the car ready for race night even when I can't be there to help. They show up at a moment's notice to go to work. All they ask for in return is a few cold ones at the end of a long day. Pit crews rarely get much recognition and if it weren't for the people behind the scenes, most cars wouldn't even make it to the track. I can't tell you how much these guys mean to me. |
